LEFT IS THE NEW RIGHT
I really want to read this book. I totally didn't know that David Thewlis wrote it. I really like his acting and I hope I'll like his writing. I have like 3 new books and I haven't read any of them. Like the second novel in The Ring series or like...I don't know. Some other book. Any other notable novels that I should read? I'm going to be having a lot of time on my hands coming up. Hahaha I just realised I asked the computer a question...

The new year is coming up and I'm not ready for it. This year went to waste.

Release me
It's good. Very good use of their instruments. I totally forgot that Radiohead actually plays instruments. This album feels very optimistic and like there might be a chance in the distance. The first song is amazing though. Wish they had tried to make the album more varied with some songs near the latter half to waken it up. All in all, it's a good album.

Paranoid vampire acts a little old
Last night was Part Time Punks The Smiths/Morrissey night. SO GUUUUD. The bands performed covers of The Smiths songs and they were so good. I usually hate covers, but this was amazing.
The first band, The Chapin Sisters, are this folk/indie band that do these harmonies. It almost made me cry listening to them sing "I Know It's Over" by The Smiths. And apparently, they are the grandchildren of Wes Craven. Tight.
Next was The Softboiled Eggies and they did SO GOOD. I thought I was watching The Smiths play fer realz. Barbarism Begins At Home was so amazing live.
Then I just danced all night to my favorite smiths songs. Got home at 3. Went to bed, woke up at 8. I was supposed to be at work at 6. OOPS.

after years of waiting
I'm an uncle now. The birth was quick and hopefully not that painful for my sister [well...it was, but when it was done, it seemed as if nothing happened. She was faking I bet.] The baby's stats: Gabriel Rodriguez De Loera, 9lbs, 19 inches, really cute. It was pretty intense. There were like 8 people [not including doctors] in the room.

Ranch Sunflower Seeds
Vermont house last night. As always, it was fun, full of fun times. Met this japanese guy who is really cool, but I forgot his name. Discovered that I like sunflower seeds [again....I hated them for awhile]. Taylor had like 4 bottles of TAAKA with him. Found out that sitting on a roof isn't all that scary.
Everyone on the rooftop
Darby Crash
Sexy as hell
Crazy as hell
Jean Skirt KEWTIES
SERIOUSLY the cutest dog around
If I dented your car, I'm so sorry
I love the colors in this picture
Valley gurl
Googly drunk
Cholas
Hotties
Random girl from Cincinatti
Then afterwards, Chris and I went to Dan and Tessa's house in Highland Park and watched this David Bowie TV special from 1974 and the Marc Bolan show.
Right now I'm listening to My Bloody Valentine's Ecstacy and Wine. I've owned this album for a long time, but I just found it on my computer. I love it so far.

There's too much clinging to peak/ There's too much pressure
Earlier this week HEALTH played a spur of the moment show at Pehrspace. They were filming a movie and the whole place was supposed to look like Hell. It did. The audience had to wear these masks that were really freaky. As always, they put on a great show. I sat outside and drank and occasionally had a look-see. This is what I filmed.
This is what I ended up doing outside [my Olde English in the back]
Yesterday was the "free show" [admission was my Metro day pass]with Ladytron. It was so good. They looked so goth, yet threw some occasional smiles. Too many gay kids at the show though :-/ I "surprised freaked" these two ladies that wee trying to get by and they responded by dancing back.
New TOD at Vermont/Wilshire
Jesse looking great as always in line for LT
I was making a dead jesus pose, but Jesse was too close
Spooky
SO GUD TO MY EARS
Then afterwards it was time to go barhopping. First went to the Gold Room and everyone got $5 corona+shot. Except for me. I banned myself from tequila shots. Long story. We danced to Madonna, Depeche Mode and ABBA[?]
A true Mexican
Afterwards time to hit Little Joy. It was really packed and I chainsmoked outside. Oops.
Will, Chris, Brit
Jesse's like "Do you see this kid? He's so drunk"
Had a good time. Tonight was my rest night. What a crazy 2[3?] weeks.

It's getting cold now and I totally don't have fall/winter clothing. I have like thin ass shirts and no jackets to match. Recycle last years clothing? Most likely, It's not like I care, but it's fun to shop.
